Job summary

Deloitte is seeking a Senior Consultant in M&A Finance to support finance integration and separation activities tied to mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. You will work across finance, accounting, and treasury priorities, delivering analyses, plans, and client-ready deliverables throughout the transaction lifecycle.

A successful candidate will have 4+ years in M&A, strong communication, and the ability to lead workstreams in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 4+ years of consulting or industry experience; MBA + 2+ years acceptable.
• 4+ years in M&A or M&A service delivery, including Day 1 planning, integration or separation, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Support finance workstreams across M&A engagements, including Day 1 readiness and integration/separation planning.
• Analyze finance, accounting, and treasury processes to identify risks and improvements.
• Develop workplans, track deliverables, and coordinate activities across stakeholders.
• Prepare analyses and client-ready materials for close, consolidation, planning, and finance operating model considerations.
• Support evaluation of options and communicate recommendations to clients.
