The role involves screening potential targets, assisting with due diligence, and delivering reports and presentations on M&A activity within the Aerospace/Defense sector.

The candidate should be proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Word, and capable of communicating complex financial concepts to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong familiarity with financial concepts (including accounting and valuation)
• Presentation skills to senior internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience using spreadsheets to perform financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Provide detailed financial models on prospective M&A targets
• Conduct research and analysis in support of initial screening and qualification of M&A candidates
• Support M&A transactions including due diligence activity
• Develop reports, analysis, and presentations on Lockheed Martin's M&A activity and in the Aerospace/Defense industry
