Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Security/Asset Protection professional for our distribution center in California. The role focuses on protecting people, property and information while coordinating with leadership and law enforcement.

Responsibilities include monitoring security programs, investigating incidents, and training staff to prevent loss and respond to threats. Occasional travel and varied shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Educational level: College degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience: 4 years in security, loss prevention, asset protection or law enforcement.
• Knowledge of criminal codes and threats to property and persons.
• Interviews and interrogations experience.
• Knowledge of CCTV and access control systems.

Responsibilities

• Protect employees, assets and information in the distribution center.
• Monitor security programs; report to asset protection leadership.
• Investigate threats and workplace violence with leadership and HR.
• Provide testimony at hearings as needed.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement on security matters.
• Train staff on security practices and incident response.
