Job summary

Valmont Industries is seeking a Logistics Transportation Supervisor to lead projects in our Corporate Shared Services group. The role focuses on cost-efficient logistics, data analysis, and ERP-driven process improvements.

You will manage cross-functional initiatives, develop forecasting models, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership while traveling up to 15% for business development and implementation efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, IT, Operations or Finance is preferred.
• 5+ years relevant experience or 7+ years with an Associate’s Degree.
• Experience with integrating and implementing Logistics processes.
• Strong understanding of Logistics/Transportation in manufacturing.
• Advanced Excel modeling and data analysis skills.
• Working knowledge of ERP software and related tool packs (IFS).
• Hands-on experience with Transportation Management System (TMS).

Responsibilities

• Travel up to 15% (domestic and international) to support logistics and TMS initiatives.
• Manage logistics projects and develop implementation plans.
• Maintain and update logistics savings and performance models for senior management.
• Develop logistics metrics for cost, service, and delivery processes.
• Collaborate with procurement, order management, accounting, sales, and production.
• Provide guidance on reports and databases and train end-users.
