This individual contributor will lead strategic sourcing initiatives and identify opportunities to reduce supply chain costs across multiple logistics categories.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of transportation and logistics purchasing experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate across functions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Procurement, Logistics, or a related field.
• Five or more years of relevant transportation and logistics purchasing, sourcing, or business experience.
• Strong industry knowledge across transportation, logistics, warehousing, and third-party service providers.
• Thorough understanding of standard contracting and negotiation practices.
• Demonstrated strength in problem-solving, project management, stakeholder engagement, and facilitation.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing activities across transportation and logistics categories, including TL, LTL, parcel, air freight, ocean freight, 3PL, and warehousing.
• Negotiate, develop, and manage contracts with external suppliers.
• Deliver measurable financial savings on transactions while securing favorable terms.
• Develop partnerships with technology, business, procurement, and legal stakeholders.
• Collaborate cross-functionally and globally to achieve business objectives.
