Job summary

Samsung SDS America, Inc. is seeking a Logistics Pricing Analyst to support pricing, procurement, and bid activities across OTR, Intermodal, LTL/FTL and other modes. You will analyze large data sets, develop cost-effective pricing, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver competitive transportation solutions.

The role emphasizes Excel, SAP/TMS, market intelligence, and vendor negotiation, with strong communication and analytical skills required for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
• Minimum 3 years in transportation pricing, logistics procurement, or a related analytical role.
• Experience supporting RFI, RFP, and RFQ processes with data analysis and bid management.
• Strong Excel, data analysis, and pricing capability; familiarity with SAP/TMS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pricing & bid analysis across multiple transportation modes to develop competitive pricing.
• Support RFI/RFP/RFQ processes with data collection, pricing analysis, and submission management.
• Source and negotiate with carriers, validate pricing assumptions, and ensure feasible solutions.
• Monitor market trends, capacity, and cost drivers to inform pricing recommendations.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Legal, and Finance to operationalize pricing strategies.
• Maintain bid files, rate records, and documentation; analyze win/loss data for improvements.
