Job summary

Samsung SDS America, Inc. in Plano, TX, seeks a Logistics Pricing Analyst to support customer pricing, transportation procurement, and bid activities across OTR, Intermodal, LTL, and FTL.

You will analyze large volumes of pricing data, develop competitive pricing recommendations, and collaborate with Sales, Operations, Legal, and Finance to deliver executable transportation solutions. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in transportation pricing or analytics, advanced Excel skills, and experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in transportation pricing, logistics procurement, carrier sourcing, or a related analytical role.
• Experience supporting RFI, RFP, and RFQ processes, including data analysis, bid preparation, pricing, and submission management.
• Experience with OTR/Truckload, LTL, FTL, and Intermodal.
• Strong vendor sourcing and negotiation skills.
• Advanced Excel skills including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Macro, and data analysis.
• Experience using SAP and/or Transportation Management Systems (TMS) is preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 10% and work onsite at Plano, TX.

Responsibilities

• Pricing & Bid Analysis: analyze transportation data to develop competitive pricing recommendations.
• RFI/RFP/RFQ Management: support data collection and bid submissions with cross-functional teams.
• Transportation Procurement & Vendor Management: source and negotiate with carriers to secure cost-effective rates.
• Market Intelligence & Data Analysis: monitor market trends and prepare regular reports for stakeholders.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: align pricing solutions with Sales, Operations, Legal, and Finance.
• Process Improvement & Systems: enhance pricing models, tools, and data quality in SAP/TMS.
