Job summary

Parallel Architectural Products, a subsidiary of Armstrong World Industries, seeks a Logistics Planner in Englewood, CO. The role oversees end-to-end planning and execution of production orders, coordinating order management, work preparation, and procurement to ensure safety, quality, cost, and productivity.

The position reports to the Plant Manager. It requires 5+ years in supply chain planning, ERP/SAP experience, and strong Excel and data analysis skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in supply chain-related field.
• 5+ years in supply chain planning, production scheduling, or operations management.
• Experience with ERP systems and production planning tools.
• 5+ years in production scheduling in a make-to-order environment.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and prioritizes approved production orders; communicates schedules to production teams.
• Analyzes backlog to optimize product mix and maximize runtime efficiency.
• Assigns customer target dates, production lead times, and start dates.
• Monitors and communicates production plan progress; escalates delays as needed.
• Ensures accuracy in scheduling, documentation, and order specifications.
