Job summary

Air Waves in Lewis Center, OH, seeks a Sr. Manager, Production Planning and Logistics to lead labor planning and logistics for our apparel print-on-demand operation. Translate forecasts into staffing and manage KPIs to optimize capacity and costs.

The role requires 7+ years in planning, strong Excel and ERP/WMS experience, and a track record of boosting productivity in high-volume manufacturing. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Seven plus years in production planning, workforce planning, logistics, supply chain, or manufacturing operations.
• Experience in apparel, print-on-demand, e-commerce fulfillment, consumer products, or high-volume manufacturing strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience developing labor and capacity plans in variable-demand environments.
• Strong knowledge of inbound and outbound transportation, receiving, shipping, and warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop daily, weekly, monthly, and peak-season labor plans based on order volume and forecasts.
• Translate production forecasts into staffing levels by shift, department and function.
• Establish labor budgets and KPI tracking (UPH, Labor $/hour).
• Build labor models aligning staffing with production volume and capacity.
• Identify productivity improvements and optimize overtime and scheduling with leadership.
• Coordinate labor with HR to ensure staffing and skills meet demand.
