Job summary

Linde Inc. is seeking a Logistics Planner in Tonawanda, NY to develop and execute distribution plans ensuring safe and cost-efficient deliveries.

You will monitor bulk gas inventories, review demand and driver availability, and coordinate with drivers and supervisors to optimize fleet utilization. Responsibilities include responding to customer and driver communications, scheduling drivers per contracts and safety standards, and maintaining QA and data integrity across the Advanced Logistics

Qualifications

Associate degree or equivalent required.
Minimum of 1 year in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Customer service experience preferred but not required.
Logistics, transportation, supply chain, dispatch, or operations experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Develop, execute, and adjust daily distribution plans to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective delivery.
Monitor and manage bulk gas inventories using planning systems to ensure uninterrupted supply.
Review demand, outages, driver availability, and resources to optimize fleet utilization.
Coordinate with management, drivers, and supervisors to address supply concerns and logistics challenges.
Respond to customer and driver communications to resolve issues and provide timely support.
Schedule and assign drivers in compliance with contracts, DOT regulations, and safety standards.
Ensure distribution activities meet QA, regulatory, and safety objectives.
Prepare fleet performance reports and maintain accurate data in the logistics system.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, service reliability, data integrity and transport costs.
