Placements24 is seeking a strategic Logistics Operations Manager to optimise supply chain and distribution for operations based in Welkom. You will lead the logistics team, implement efficient strategies, and ensure high service delivery across the Free State.

The role requires extensive experience in logistics, strong leadership, and proficiency with ERP systems to drive continuous improvement in transportation and warehousing operations.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in logistics and supply chain management.
• Proven ability to manage complex transportation and warehousing operations.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Proficiency in logistics software and ERP systems.
• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct all logistics operations, including warehousing, transportation, and inventory management.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
• Oversee the logistics team, providing guidance, training, and performance management.
