Job summary

Symbotic is seeking a Manager, Logistics - Distribution Planning and Execution to own the distribution planning and execution for complex automation deployments. You will ensure materials are positioned, staged, kitted, and released through our warehouse network in alignment with project milestones and site readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in related field.
• 8+ years in supply chain, logistics, distribution planning or warehouse roles.
• 2+ years of management experience within Operations or Logistics.
• Working knowledge of inventory control and warehouse operations, material staging, kitting, and distribution processes.
• Experience using ERP, WMS, or planning tools to manage inventory flow and execution.
• Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional processes without direct ownership of all execution teams.
• Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills.
• Up to 20% travel; valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage site distribution planning to support installation schedules.
• Translate inbound supply and inventory signals into warehouse position plans (SKU mix, quantity, timing).
• Coordinate with Inventory Operations to stage and convert materials into buildable outputs.
• Align staging, kitting, and outbound readiness with warehouse teams.
• Define and manage warehouse release strategies to sites.
• Collaborate with Transportation to align shipment timing and routing.
• Identify supply chain risks and escalate or resolve as needed.
• Provide reporting on site readiness and warehouse output to stakeholders and leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement of distribution planning processes.
