Job summary

Aertssen Logistics USA Inc in Rincon, GA is seeking an Operations Planner to translate forecasts, orders, and priorities into daily, weekly, and medium-term plans. You will align labor, equipment, space, materials, and timing with workloads across customer accounts while maintaining safe, efficient operations.

Working on-site, you will guide warehousing and account coordination, with 3–5 years in planning and a focus on data-driven decisions using Excel, ERP/WMS, and Power BI.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in operations planning, production planning, logistics planning, or related field.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, operations planning, or related field.
• Demonstrated ability to translate forecasts into workload, labor, and capacity requirements.
• Experience analyzing plan-versus-actual performance and identifying root causes.
• Strong Excel and data-analysis skills with ERP, WMS, and planning/reporting tools experience.
• Experience with Power BI or similar data-visualization tool preferred.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams.
• Commitment to following safety procedures and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Convert customer forecasts, work orders, and expected equipment volumes into workload and capacity requirements.
• Translate anticipated demand into labor hours, equipment needs, dock, yard, and warehouse capacity, and required timing.
• Develop and maintain a clearly documented operational plan that establishes the baseline for measuring execution.
• Identify anticipated labor, equipment, space, and material constraints early enough for management to respond.
• Coordinate the equipment, tools, and materials required to support the approved operational plan.
• Monitor plan attainment and compare forecasted, planned, and completed work.
• Analyze operational variances, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Use historical forecast, plan, and execution data to improve workload assumptions, planning standards, resource estimates, and scheduling accuracy.
• Make routine scheduling adjustments within established operational guidelines and elevate changes with significant impact.
• Communicate planning assumptions, capacity risks, schedule changes, and material deviations clearly and promptly.
• Perform all responsibilities in accordance with company quality, environmental, health, and safety policies.
