Job summary

Cherokee Nation Government Solutions (CGS) is a part of Cherokee Federal, supporting Marines with strategic logistics and supply-chain optimization. This Functional Analyst IV role focuses on developing recommendations, implementing processes, and delivering executive-level communications to improve logistics performance.

The position requires a Master’s degree and 5–6 years of relevant military logistics experience, including process reengineering and training material development.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required in business/admin/logistics or related field.
• 5–6 years of experience supporting military wholesale and retail logistics activities.
• 5–6 years of experience managing Ground Equipment Secondary Items.
• 5–6 years of experience leading strategic process-reengineering and process-development efforts.
• 5–6 years of experience using performance-management frameworks to evaluate effectiveness.
• 5–6 years of experience with supply-chain business processes and architecture.
• 5–6 years of experience developing training curricula and delivering classroom instruction.

Responsibilities

• Analyze supply-chain processes and recommend strategic-level improvements.
• Provide organizational change-management support to the government customer.
• Apply laws, policies, regulations, and precedents relevant to logistics planning.
• Develop recommendations for changes to Marine Corps policy.
• Develop executive-level briefings, documents, and reports.
• Facilitate meetings and conferences supporting strategic initiatives.
• Prepare trip reports for government-directed conferences or meetings.
• Apply knowledge of GCSS-MC functionality and integration in planning.
