Job summary

Cherokee Nation Government Solutions (CGS) is seeking a Senior Project Lead to oversee a geographically dispersed team of at least 25 contract personnel supporting military logistics. You will ensure staffing, deliverables, and strong customer communication to meet PWS requirements within budget.

The role requires extensive experience in logistics planning, program execution, and sustainment, with ability to coordinate with government customers at multiple levels.

Qualifications

• Ability to analyze problems, identify significant factors, gather relevant data, and develop and apply effective solutions.
• Ability to plan, organize, and execute complex tasks successfully.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate with personnel at multiple levels and ranks.
• Knowledge of laws, policies, regulations, and precedents applicable to logistics planning, program execution, and sustainment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain overall responsibility for program operations, performance, and deliverables.
• Provide management and oversight for at least 25 contract personnel.
• Ensure all program functions have qualified staffing.
• Maintain close communication with the government customer to ensure program objectives are met.
• Ensure deliverables are timely and high quality, and provide value to the customer.
• Facilitate program improvements and address operational needs.
• Lead delivery of complex support requirements in accordance with the PWS, schedule, and budget.
• Apply laws, policies, regulations, and precedents to logistics planning and program execution.
