Job summary

Cherokee Federal is seeking a Logistics Specialist to support MDA PMSCO, focusing on property management analysis, compliance, and logistics program support across CONUS/OCONUS locations. Requires an active SECRET clearance and ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities include data analysis, record reconciliation, audits, and guidance to warehouse operations. Travel 15–30% may be required; U.S. citizenship or permanent residency documentation is required due to government contract constraints.

Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance, or ability to obtain and maintain one.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• At least 2 years of experience in logistics or related field.
• At least 1 year of Government property/logistics experience.
• Ability to analyze data, investigate discrepancies, and propose management actions.
• Knowledge of Government property lifecycle management and related systems.
• Experience with government property accountability or logistics systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze Government property records across systems (IMS, BMC Helix, ELMS, DoD IUID, PIEE).
• Maintain and reconcile complex property and logistics records.
• Support audits, reviews, and surveillance activities; prepare responses.
• Serve as analytical contact for property officers, CORs, and contractors.
• Provide technical guidance to warehouse operations staff.
• Develop recommendations for property and logistics process improvements.
• Plan and manage inventories, sampling, variance analyses, and record adjustments.
• Coordinate transportation and shipment requirements and documentation.
