Job summary

Valley Bank is seeking a Project Lead for Strategic Loan Reporting and Analytics in Wayne, NJ. This role drives reporting, analytics, and tech initiatives across Commercial, Residential, and Consumer Lending, coordinating between business units, IT, and vendors.

The ideal candidate will lead multi-project delivery, design advanced reporting solutions, and push data governance and AI-enabled improvements to support business objectives.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of commercial loan servicing and related processes.
• Experience with consumer/residential loan servicing is a plus.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and PowerBI.
• Experience using AI-powered tools to enhance reporting and workflows.
• Knowledge of SQL database development is a plus.
• Self-motivated and able to work under pressure and deadlines.
• Ability to build respectful, productive relationships with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple strategic reporting, analytics, technology, and operational projects.
• Serve as liaison between lending units, IT, vendors, and external partners.
• Design and enhance reporting using Power BI, Power Apps, and Snowflake.
• Evaluate processes and controls; implement efficiency and risk improvements.
• Define data standards, governance, and reporting requirements across lending ops.
• Identify AI, automation to streamline workflows and data-driven decisions.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure project delivery.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and drive implementations.
• Develop and maintain user guides, procedures, and business requirements.
