Identity Digital is seeking a Lead Infrastructure Engineer - Linux/AWS to drive technical leadership for a Systems Engineering team, shaping architecture and roadmap. This individual contributor role requires advanced scripting, cloud expertise, and strong collaboration across teams.

The candidate will mentor engineers, lead critical infrastructure initiatives, and ensure reliable, secure, scalable operations while aligning with corporate goals and global time zones.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience with 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field or equivalent experience.
• Deep understanding of infrastructure engineering, systems design, and application development principles.
• Advanced Bash and Python scripting skills with Linux kernel knowledge.
• Experience with open-source technologies and enterprise infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the day-to-day technical lead for the Systems Engineering team and coordinate work assignments.
• Provide mentorship, technical guidance, and support to engineers; review work and promote best practices.
• Contribute to technical decisions shaping project outcomes, workflows, and infrastructure improvements.
• Oversee system lifecycle tasks from design through deployment and operations support.
• Design, build, and enhance infrastructure solutions; implement system improvements and automation.
