Job summary

Baker Boyer National Bank is seeking a Lending Compliance Officer in Eastern Washington. The role operates within the Compliance Committee to ensure regulatory compliance, manage risk, and support bank policies and workflows.

The position emphasizes strong communication, analytical abilities, and the capacity to train staff while leveraging prior audit or banking experience. This is a high-visibility role requiring collaboration across departments and with senior management.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a four-year college or university.
• Minimum three years’ experience in auditing or compliance, preferably in a banking or finance environment; or any equivalent combination of education, experience and training.
• Demonstration of relevant skills and experience required to perform job may be considered in lieu of education or auditing / compliance experience minimums.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that the bank is following state and federal regulations within acceptable risk tolerances established by the Compliance Committee and Board.
• Work with compliance peers to manage the Regulatory Risk of the bank.
• Act as a Compliance resource and consultant to all employees.
• Lead and coordinate projects and monitoring of ongoing activities.
• Complete assigned procedures, responsibilities and projects, after initial training and instruction, with minimal supervision.
