Job summary

Hall & Evans, LLC, a Denver-based defense law firm, is seeking a highly motivated Legal Billing Specialist to join the firm’s Accounting Department. This role will drive accurate and efficient client billing, including review, e-billing, appeals, and adjustments, while collaborating with attorneys, staff, and carriers to resolve issues.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of hands-on billing experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency with multiple legal billing

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of hands-on billing experience in a professional services setting
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
• Proactive, motivated, and able to learn new systems quickly
• Excellent communication with attorneys, staff, and clients

Responsibilities

• Review draft invoices for accuracy and compliance with client and carrier guidelines
• Submit invoices through third-party e-billing platforms and monitor status
• Manage e-billing appeals and pursue corrective actions with carriers
• Maintain organized billing records including rates, budgets, and client correspondence
• Build and maintain positive client relationships through professional billing support
• Utilize multiple legal billing software and MS Office tools effectively
