Vestas is seeking a Leave and Workers Compensation Specialist in Houston, TX to partner with leaders across HR, Payroll, Risk, Legal, and operations on complex leave, accommodations, and workers compensation matters. You will own escalated cases, guide policy interpretation, improve processes, and coordinate with TPAs to ensure compliant, timely outcomes while maintaining exceptional employee experience.

The role requires a Bachelor's in HR or related field and 5+ years of relevant experience;

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Risk Management or related field (preferred).
• Five+ years of experience in leave administration, accommodations, workers compensation, or HR operations.
• Experience supporting a multi-location organization; manufacturing or operational environment preferred.
• Experience working with insurance carriers, TPAs, medical providers, attorneys, payroll teams, and business leaders.
• Bilingual English and Spanish skills are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Act as a strategic partner to leaders on complex leave, accommodation, and workers compensation matters.
• Own and resolve escalated, high-risk, or near-termination cases with documentation and referrals.
• Provide guidance on policy interpretation, return-to-work planning, risk, and employee experience.
• Identify recurring issues, trends; recommend policy, process, technology, and service improvements.
• Coordinate claim and vendor communications; monitor service levels and regulatory compliance.
• Lead the interactive accommodation process with employees and stakeholders; document options and actions.
• Monitor state paid-leave programs and coordinate benefits across statutory and company plans.
• Oversee vendor reviews, service quality, and timely completion of commitments.
• Develop case strategies focused on appropriate care, safe return to work, and cost stewardship.
