Job summary

St. John Properties, Inc. is seeking a Leasing Representative to lease buildings within the portfolio and maintain tenant relationships.

You will meet with clients on-site to assess space needs, present to brokers, and prepare leases and amendments. You will also generate new leads, negotiate terms, and manage the lease process through planning, construction and legal review, coordinating with property management to keep properties well positioned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Meet with new and existing clients on site to determine their space needs.
• Make presentations to prospects and real estate brokers.
• Prepare written proposals, leases, amendments, etc.
• Prospect and cold call for new lead generation.
• Negotiate lease terms and conditions.
• Understand real estate economics and market conditions.
• Manage the lease process as the primary point of contact through space planning, construction and legal review.
• Review vacant spaces and coordinate with property management to ensure properties are well positioned for success.
• Work directly with the marketing team on creation of marketing collateral, events and targeted marketing campaigns.
• Work with other SJP Departments to ensure clients' needs are met.
• Maintain relationships with existing clients to promote renewal of leases.
• Participate in networking, industry and community events outside of normal business hours.
• Other duties as assigned.
