Job summary

New York Medical College (NYMC) is seeking an Associate Director of Student Wellness Programs to lead the Office of Student Mental Health & Wellness. The role directs clinical services and wellness initiatives across NYMC schools, supervising licensed clinicians and coordinating intake, triage, and referrals for a student body of over 2,000.

• Licensed mental health professional with post-licensure experience.
• Experience in academic health education settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver short-term individual therapy and coordinate referrals.
• Supervise clinicians and interns; provide mentorship and feedback.
• Oversee intake, assessment, and assignment of cases to providers.
• Maintain clinical documentation in electronic health records.
• Collaborate with Deans and campus partners to support student well-being.
