Job summary

BAMSI is seeking a Director of Residential Operations to provide strategic leadership across a portfolio of residential programs for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Massachusetts. The role requires ensuring high-quality care, regulatory compliance, workforce stability, and strong financial oversight.

You will lead Residential Program Managers and frontline leaders, drive accountability, and promote person-centered practices while coordinating with Quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred.
• 5–7 years in residential or human services operations.
• 3–5 years of progressive leadership supervising managers or multi-site operations.
• Experience managing program budgets, staffing operations, compliance, and workforce performance.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership across residential programs.
• Ensure compliance with DDS, CARF, Medicaid, licensing, and BAMSI procedures.
• Oversee budgets, overtime, purchasing, and expenses across programs.
• Lead hiring, onboarding, and development for leadership staff.
• Engage with families, funding sources, and external providers; participate in agency committees.
