Job summary

Tepeyac Community Health Center seeks a Senior Director of Quality, Risk, and Compliance to lead the QRC department, ensuring continuous regulatory compliance and delivery of high-quality patient care. The role supervises the Data Analyst and partners with executive leadership to socialize best practices across the organization.

The candidate will oversee HIPAA/privacy and corporate compliance programs, coordinate with HRSA and CMS requirements, and report findings to the Board of Directors.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in regulatory compliance, quality and/or risk management; 10 years preferred.
• Certification in Healthcare Compliance required (HCCA preferred; other certifications considered).

Responsibilities

• Direct, ensure timely implementation of required activities for Compliance, Risk, and Quality Programs.
• Provide guidance and training to executive and leadership staff to meet compliance objectives.
• Report to the Board of Directors on effectiveness of Compliance, Risk, and Quality Programs; advise on policies and HRSA requirements.
• Oversee a Corporate Compliance Program and ensure staff training and education.
• Develop and maintain Corporate Compliance Plan, Standards of Conduct, and annual evaluation of plan effectiveness.
• Oversee investigations of known or suspected violations; escalate to regulators as needed.
