Job summary

Pinellas Police Standards Council (PPSC) seeks an experienced Executive Director to lead the Police Applicant Screening Service (PASS). This role focuses on strategic leadership, program administration, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder relations for 14 local law enforcement agencies.

The successful candidate will oversee budgeting, reporting, personnel management, and ensures high professional standards in public safety while reporting to the PPSC Chair.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Eight+ years of relevant experience in management, administration, public safety, regulatory compliance, or related field.
• Demonstrated leadership, supervisory, organizational, and decision-making abilities.
• Experience in budget administration, policy development, regulatory interpretation, or program management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to prepare reports and deliver presentations for diverse stakeholders.
• Valid Florida driver license required.
