Skillcloud HCM Solutions is seeking a Director of Managed Payroll to lead payroll service delivery across clients, teams, and systems. The role provides strategic and operational leadership to Payroll Client Managers, Senior Payroll Client Managers, and delivery teams to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Admin, Accounting, or related field preferred.
• 7–10+ years of progressive payroll experience.
• 3–5+ years of leadership experience managing payroll teams or managed payroll services.
• Demonstrated success leading multiple consultants and payroll professionals.
• Advanced knowledge of payroll regulations, tax requirements, and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee managed payroll services to ensure consistent, high-quality client delivery.
• Direct, mentor, and develop Payroll Client Managers and payroll team members.
• Serve as the senior escalation point for complex payroll issues and risk management.
• Ensure payrolls are processed accurately, timely, and compliant with regulations.
• Oversee tax filings, W-2, 1099 processing, and agency correspondence.
• Manage client portfolio performance and service delivery expectations.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support integrated service delivery.
• Drive payroll process improvements and operational efficiencies.
• Oversee resource planning and workload balancing across payroll teams.
