Job summary

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's Adams School of Dentistry seeks an Assistant Director of Learning Systems & Faculty Support to lead instructional design and learning systems enhancements. You will partner with faculty to design, deliver, and assess educational activities and ensure alignment with program objectives.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in education, special education, instructional design, or related field.
• Or Bachelor’s degree with two years in teaching, educational testing, or instructional design.
• All degrees from accredited institutions.
• Knowledge of instructional design principles, educational theories, teaching methodologies.
• Ability to develop curricula, evaluate content, and align objectives.

Responsibilities

• Provide course consultation and instructional design support for DDS courses.
• Coordinate syllabi and Canvas materials; develop online modules.
• Collect and analyze student performance data to support decision‑making.
• Advise on curriculum mapping and alignment of objectives and assessments.
