The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill invites applications for the Assistant Director of Learning Systems & Faculty Support. This role provides school‑level leadership in instructional design, curriculum support, educational assessment, and learning systems to enhance the DDS program.

You will work with faculty to align objectives, develop syllabi and Canvas materials, deliver online training, and maintain templates while collecting data to inform Teaching Committee decisions.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in education, instructional design, educational technology, or related discipline with coursework in curriculum development or learning theory.
• Bachelor's degree in the assigned discipline plus two years of teaching, educational testing, or instructional design and curriculum development experience.
• All degrees must be from appropriately accredited institutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide school-level leadership in instructional design, curriculum support, educational assessment, and learning systems.
• Coordinate development, collection, review, and approval of course syllabi and Canvas materials.
• Develop and deliver educational training resources, including online modules.
• Maintain standardized educational resources such as syllabus and lesson-plan templates.
• Support curriculum mapping and alignment of course objectives, instructional strategies, and assessment methods.
• Collect, analyzes, and reports student performance data to support Teaching Committee decisions.
• Provide support for classroom instructional technologies and AV resources; collaborate with faculty and stakeholders.
