Job summary

Foodsmart is seeking a Senior Director, Health Economics & Actuarial Analytics, to measure clinical outcomes and quantify economic value for payers. You will defend methodologies with actuarial peers, shape value‑based care strategies, and lead a small analytics team.

You will translate outcomes such as weight loss, A1c, and blood pressure into payer‑credible economic value, collaborating with clinical teams and external partners to extend impact.

Qualifications

• Strong background in health economics and value-based care.
• Experience proving ROI in healthcare and payer settings.
• Hands-on with healthcare claims data for cost and utilization analysis.
• Ability to translate clinical outcomes into economic value for payers.

Responsibilities

• Own how we measure clinical outcomes across client populations.
• Own ROI methodology and translate outcomes into economic value.
• Defend methodology to payers and external actuarial firms.
• Lead the analytical substance of the value story for clients.
• Shape our value-based care strategy and target populations.
• Build scalable analytics systems for multiple clients.
• Collaborate on peer‑reviewed research with academia.
• Translate findings with clinical teams to improve care delivery.
• Lead a small team while leveraging AI to extend impact.
