The College of Indigenous Studies at the University of Alaska Fairbanks seeks a Director for the Alaska Native Language Center (ANLC), a nationally recognized center dedicated to documenting, preserving, and revitalizing Alaska Native languages. This is a senior leadership role responsible for strategic direction and external partnerships.

The Director will oversee grants, supervise staff, manage the budget, and build the infrastructure to grow ANLC's research, archival, and outreach programs,

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Five years progressively responsible experience, or equivalent combination of training and experience.

Responsibilities

• Secure and administer grant funding for ANLC initiatives.
• Supervise research and administrative staff.
• Build infrastructure to grow ANLC's capacity over time.
• Provide strategic vision and represent ANLC to internal and external stakeholders.
