Job summary
District of Columbia Public Schools seeks a Senior Director of Enterprise Applications and Data Systems to lead the Student Information System and related ERP and data platforms. You will guide development, delivery, testing, and integration of enterprise solutions across schools and offices.
The role requires strong leadership, strategic architecture, and deep experience with ERP and data systems, including Power Platform and SIS (Aspen).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and six to eight years of related work experience.
- Master's degree preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in application development, including leadership of large, enterprise engineering teams (education environment preferred).
- Experience with ERP and data systems; SIS (Aspen) is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Oversees the implementation and management of the Student Information System, ERP, and other enterprise applications.
- Manages technical development resources (contractor and FTE) for development, operations, and maintenance.
- Builds relationships across internal departments to drive collaboration and project success.
- Advises senior management on legislation, policies, and procedures affecting the department.
