Job summary

PowerSchool seeks a Distinguished Enterprise Data & Integration Architect to set the long-term architectural vision for data movement, governance, and analytics. This role advises the CTO/CIO and executive leadership, shaping cross-functional decisions across ERP, CRM, HR, and SaaS systems.

You will own the data platform vision using Microsoft Fabric/Azure, align standards, and drive cost-effective, scalable designs enabling AI, analytics, and product innovation.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive experience in data/architecture roles.
• Proven history shaping enterprise-wide architectural vision.
• Expertise with iPaaS/middleware like Boomi across data patterns.
• Deep knowledge of modern data warehousing and Microsoft data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Serve as principal technical advisor on data strategy and enterprise data platforms.
• Define enterprise data and integration architecture vision aligned with business strategy.
• Drive technology decisions affecting platform direction and investments.
• Present architecture vision and risk assessments to executives/board.
• Own enterprise integration architecture across ERP, CRM, HR, and SaaS.
• Establish enterprise-wide integration standards and patterns.
• Govern large-scale integration initiatives (Workday, M&A) with governance.
• Define non-functional standards for error handling, logging, monitoring, and performance.
• Lead the enterprise architecture review board and mentor senior architects.
• Shape engineering culture around architecture and design-first practices.
