Delaware Electric Cooperative, Inc. is seeking an experienced professional to fill the full-time role of Manager of Energy & Renewable Solutions.

The position leads energy efficiency, distributed energy resources, and renewable energy initiatives, translating regulatory requirements and member needs into practical programs that improve reliability and sustainability. The Manager will develop, implement, and manage programs and solutions that help members optimize energy use, reduce costs, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with emphasis in Business, Science, Engineering, Energy Management, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Minimum five years of experience with an electric utility, energy services organization, renewable energy provider, engineering group, or program management function.
• Knowledge of energy efficiency, renewable energy, distributed energy resources, grants/incentives, and regulatory requirements; ability to interpret contracts, tariffs, and guidance for cooperative programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead energy and renewable solution strategy, translating emerging technologies, regulatory requirements, member needs and Cooperative priorities into practical programs and services.
• Develop, implement, and manage programs that help members optimize energy use, reduce costs, and adopt new energy technologies.
• Serve as subject matter expert and strategic leader for energy efficiency, conservation, demand-side management, and renewable energy initiatives.
