Delaware Electric Cooperative, Inc. seeks a strategic Manager of Energy & Renewable Solutions to lead energy efficiency, conservation, and DER initiatives.

You will translate emerging technologies and regulatory requirements into practical programs for members, focusing on reliability and sustainable value. The role requires leading program development, stakeholder collaboration, and overseeing a portfolio of energy solutions at our Greenwood, Delaware operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum five years in electric utility/energy services or equivalent.
• Knowledge of energy efficiency, renewable energy, distributed energy resources, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications For a Manager Of Energy & Renewable Solutions

Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year institution with an emphasis in Business, Science, Engineering, Energy Management, Environmental Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, technical training, and directly related experience.

Experience: Minimum of five years of experience with an electric utility, energy services organization, renewable energy provider, engineering group, program management function, or similar business. Experience with energy efficiency, renewable energy, distributed energy resources, grants, incentives, or member-facing technical solutions is preferred.

Knowledge: Requires a thorough working knowledge of electric utility operations, energy efficiency, demand-side management, renewable energy systems, distributed energy resources, and applicable federal, state, and local regulatory requirements. Must possess the ability to interpret technical information, program requirements, contracts, tariffs, and regulatory guidance and apply that information to Cooperative programs and member solutions.

The Manager of Energy & Renewable Solutions serves as Delaware Electric Cooperative's subject matter expert and strategic leader for energy efficiency, conservation, demand-side management, beneficial electrification, distributed energy resources, and renewable energy initiatives. This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing programs and solutions that help members optimize energy use, reduce costs, improve sustainability, and adopt emerging energy technologies.

This position will lead the Cooperative's energy and renewable solution strategy by translating emerging technologies, regulatory requirements, member needs, and Cooperative priorities into practical programs, projects, and services that improve member value, system reliability, and long‑term sustainability.
