Job summary

US-Oral-Surgery-Management seeks a Director of Provider Credentialing & Licensing Operations to ensure every USOSM oral surgeon is licensed, credentialed and audit-ready in all operative states.

The role partners with an outsourced credentialing vendor, builds new processes and workflows, and leads a four-person team including a Licensing Onboarding Specialist. Focus areas include delegated credentialing, state licensing, hospital privileges, and reporting to executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business or related field.
• 8+ years in provider credentialing, licensing or payer enrollment in healthcare.
• 5+ years managing people.
• Experience with outsourced credentialing vendor partnerships and delegated credentialing.
• Experience building workflows, KPIs, SLAs and vendor scorecards.
• Strong communication with executives, surgeons and practice leaders.

Responsibilities

• Own vendor relationships and design credentialing processes and workflows.
• Lead a team of four and oversee onboarding, licensing, and hospital privileges workflows.
• Develop state licensing references and ensure compliance with NCQA and regulatory standards.
• Build and lead delegated credentialing programs with payers and audits.
• Monitor vendor performance, KPIs, renewals and roster reconciliation.
• Create dashboards and periodic leadership reports to track performance.
