Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and four (4) years of accounting experience to include government accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversees accounting, auditing, financial reporting, and recordkeeping functions.
• Directs financial systems and procedures through a team of staff.
• Provides fiscal information and briefings to agency leadership and federal grant entities.
• Leads major collegewide grants management and policy reviews.
• Counsels campus staff on fiscal policies to ensure consistency.
• Revises campus fiscal operations in coordination with other units.
• Performs preliminary analysis and forecasting for finance leadership.
• Maintains document storage for reconciliations and audits.
• Trains and evaluates accounting staff.
• Establishes departmental policies and daily activity plans.
• Delivers excellent customer service to internal/external clients on budgets and procedures.
• Performs other related duties as required.
