Qualifications

• Earned doctorate in a field aligned with Hairston College of Health and Human Sciences.
• Five years of experience in funded research with a strong publication record.
• Scholarship record for appointment at the rank of associate or full professor.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage research programs and ensure compliance with federal grant finance and research ethics.
• Foster interdisciplinary research, build centers, and develop partnerships with industry, government, and academia.
• Mentor faculty, especially junior faculty, and collaborate with the Division of Research and other university partners.
• Provide leadership for the College's research and innovation agenda and execute strategic opportunities.
• Oversee research operations, budgeting, and timelines across multiple departments and centers.
• Maintain an active research program, develop proposals, secure funding, and publish scholarly work.
