Job summary

HMSA is seeking a CFR Team Leader to guide and manage the contracting function within Provider Services, including oversight of staff and external vendors. The role emphasizes leadership, compliance, and strategic provider contracting.

The candidate will drive performance, ensure timely delivery, and align with HMSA's mission and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include supervising day-to-day CFR operations, negotiating contracts, developing staff, and coordinating with Compliance,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and six years of related work experience.
• Two years of previous management/supervisory experience.
• Experience with a highly regulated industry.
• Experience negotiating contracts and/or vendor/contract management.
• Communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership, planning and organization skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point).

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the CFR team and external vendors.
• Provide direction, monitor work quality and timeliness.
• Oversee day-to-day CFR operations and personnel.
• Ensure contract records, data entry, and payment terms are accurate.
• Ensure regulatory and contractual compliance across HMSA.
• Develop provider contracting strategy and partner relationships.
• Represent Provider Services on cross-functional projects.
