TAIT seeks a Director, Technical Direction, Fixed to lead the Fixed Technical Direction team, guiding strategy, staffing, and delivery across projects. You will partner with market leadership to shape capability, process, and priorities, ensuring high quality and safety in all technical delivery.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in technical direction and a proven record of managing complex, permanent installations at scale.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, technical theater, design, construction, or related field.
10+ years in technical direction or technical delivery, including 4+ years in people leadership.
Proven track record delivering complex fixed installations, venues, or other large-scale projects.

Responsibilities

Lead strategy, team development, workload planning, and resourcing of Fixed Technical Direction.
Represent Innovate within Fixed Market leadership, advising on capacity and priorities.
Shape and evolve the Fixed Technical Direction operating model and role expectations.
Define and evolve the Technical Direction strategy for fixed work and its interfaces with other teams.
Refine and enforce Technical Direction’s role in TAIT Project Process and interactions.
Sponsor standards, processes, and training for high-quality delivery.
Build workforce and succession plans aligned to pipeline and strategy.
Set clear expectations for direct reports and manage performance pathways.
Coordinate with other market leaders to align core Technical Direction processes and shared learning.
