Otsuka America Pharmaceutical Inc. is seeking an Associate Director of Commercial Data Science to lead data-driven insights for nephrology/immunology assets and support pre-launch work across Marketing, Commercial Operations, and Global teams.

The role requires strong project management, stakeholder management and ability to translate analytics into strategic business recommendations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Statistics, Economics, Life Sciences, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in pharmaceutical data science, brand analytics, commercial analytics, or a related field, with at least 3 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.

Responsibilities

• Manage data acquisition and analytics to support go to market strategy.
• Support pre-launch analytics including exploratory data analysis, market definition, patient finding and related analytics.
• Procure, stage, and define data pertinent to pre-launch analytics such as patient level data and lab data.
• Develop data inputs and assumptions for pre-launch forecasting.
• Partner with primary research partners on integration of insight and analytics supporting go to market strategy.
