Otsuka America Pharmaceutical Inc. is seeking an Associate Director of Data Science to drive foundational commercial data and analytic strategy for emerging assets.

You will collaborate with Marketing, Commercial Operations, Global and Clinical teams to deliver data-driven insights during pre-launch planning. The role requires exceptional project management, communication, and the ability to deliver insights in a matrixed environment with multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Statistics, Economics, Life Sciences, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in pharmaceutical data science, brand analytics, commercial analytics, or a related field, with at least 3 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.

Responsibilities

• Manage data acquisition and analytics to support go to market strategy
• Support pre-launch analytics including exploratory data analysis, market definition, patient finding and related analytics
• Procure, stage, and define data pertinent to pre-launch analytics – e.g., patient level data, lab data
• Develop key data inputs and assumptions pertinent to pre-launch forecasting
• Partner with primary research partners on integration of insight and analytics supporting go to market strategy
