Otsuka America Pharmaceutical Inc. is seeking an Associate Director of Commercial Data Science to drive data strategy for nephrology/immunology franchises. You will guide data procurement, analytics, and models in preparation for product launches, working with Marketing, Commercial Operations, Global and Clinical teams.

The role requires strong project management, stakeholder management, and the ability to translate complex analytics into strategic recommendations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Statistics, Economics, Life Sciences, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in pharmaceutical data science, brand analytics, commercial analytics, or a related field, with at least 3 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.

Responsibilities

• Manage data acquisition and analytics to support go to market strategy.
• Support pre-launch analytics including exploratory data analysis, market definition, patient finding and related analytics.
• Procure, stage, and define data pertinent to pre-launch analytics – e.g., patient level data, lab data.
• Develop key data inputs and assumptions pertinent to pre-launch forecasting.
• Partner with primary research partners on integration of insight and analytics supporting go to market strategy.
