Job summary

Greensboro College seeks a driven Director of Annual Giving and Alumni Events to strategically manage a comprehensive annual giving program that supports scholarships and operating budgets.

You will coordinate communication strategies, oversee alumni events, and work with the Executive Director of Development to foster growth in donor engagement and best practices in fundraising and events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of annual giving experience preferred in a higher education setting.
• Experience collaborating with diverse donors, prospects, and volunteer groups.
• Knowledge of fundraising practices including direct mail, phone solicitations, and online giving.
• Ability to work independently and within a team to achieve goals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage an annual giving budget and solicitation plan including direct mail, email, and digital strategies.
• Manage a prospect portfolio with goals for visits and giving outcomes.
• Coordinate alumni events and college reunions with communications and marketing teams.
• Act as liaison to Executive Director of Development for gift management and alumni relations.
