Job summary

PG&E is seeking a Senior Labor Relations Partner to provide strategic guidance on collective bargaining agreements, labor practices, and grievance resolution for a union-represented workforce. You will collaborate with leaders and union representatives, develop training, and translate complex findings into actionable recommendations.

This is a hybrid role with potential remote or on-site work based on business needs, primarily in Bakersfield, Eureka, or Salinas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources management, business administration or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
• 4 years' experience in Labor Relations/Industrial Relations or related HR work experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic labor relations consultation to leaders, Centers of Excellence, and business partners.
• Evaluate precedent, collective bargaining agreement provisions, business considerations, and organizational implications.
• Advise leaders on attendance, conduct and performance management, workplace investigations, and progressive discipline.
• Translate negotiated agreements into practical implementation guidance for leaders.
• Research and provide guidance on collective bargaining agreement interpretation and contractual requirements.
• Counsel leaders on staffing, mobility, and compliance matters within represented-workforce.
• Build relations with union representatives and resolve grievances at early stages.
• Support grievances and coordinate with Grievance Administration Team for escalation.
