Job summary

VOLTO Consulting in Dallas, TX is seeking a Labor Management System (LMS) consultant for a 6-month hybrid engagement to lead labor forecasting and workforce planning across distribution, logistics, and supply chain operations. You will design forecasting models, establish dynamic planning frameworks, and define standards to align labor demand with operational needs.

Collaboration with executives and operations leaders will validate assumptions and targets.

Qualifications

Experience with labor forecasting in logistics, distribution, or retail settings.
Strong analytical and process design capabilities.
Executive stakeholder management experience.

Responsibilities

Assess current labor planning and workforce management processes.
Design labor forecasting models based on historical volumes, demand patterns, seasonality, service levels, and constraints.
Develop dynamic labor planning methodologies for DCs, warehousing, transportation and shared services.
Define labor standards and productivity baselines.
Establish workforce capacity planning processes and support budgeting.
Create demand-to-capacity planning frameworks and governance.
Partner with operations leaders to validate forecasting assumptions and targets.
