Job summary

Anduril Industries in Costa Mesa, CA is seeking a Learning and Development Instructional Designer to design, develop, and continuously improve training content that meets AS9100/ISO 9001 quality standards and Anduril-specific requirements.

You will translate complex QMS processes into engaging, measurable learning experiences—spanning eLearning modules, instructor-led workshops, SOPs, and on-the-job training materials—collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and compliance teams.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of instructional design experience in regulated environments such as manufacturing or defense.
• Familiar with AS9100, ISO 9001 and translating regulatory requirements into training.
• Proficient with eLearning authoring tools and LMSs.
• Able to distill complex technical content into learner-centered materials.
• Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop role-based training curricula aligned to AS9100, ISO 9001, and internal QMS requirements.
• Conduct training needs analyses across manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, and field operations.
• Create multi-format learning assets—eLearning, instructor-led training, SOPs, videos, job aids.
