You will translate complex QMS processes into engaging, measurable learning experiences—spanning eLearning modules, instructor-led workshops, SOPs, and on-the-job training materials—collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and compliance teams.
Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.
The Quality team is expanding its training and workforce development capability to keep pace with Anduril's rapid growth across manufacturing, engineering, and field operations. We are looking for a Learning and Development Instructional Designer to join our team in Costa Mesa, CA. In this role, you will own the design, development, and continuous improvement of training content that enables employees, suppliers, and cross-functional partners to meet AS9100/ISO 9001 quality standards and Anduril-specific requirements. You will translate complex quality management system (QMS) processes into clear, engaging, and measurable learning experiences—spanning eLearning modules, instructor-led workshops, quick-reference guides, and on-the-job training materials. This will require deep instructional design expertise, a strong grasp of defense-industry quality standards, and the ability to collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, and compliance teams. If you are someone who thrives at the intersection of quality systems and adult learning, can turn dense regulatory content into something people actually want to complete, and gets energized by building training programs from the ground up in a fast-moving environment, then this role is for you.
