Job summary

QED Systems, LLC is seeking a Knowledge and Strategic Management Lead to join our team at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA. This full-time professional role focuses on strategic, policy, programmatic, and technical excellence to support HQDA G-3/5/7 contract tasks.

The candidate will draft and staff Army strategic documents, analyze protection efforts, and coordinate with ARSTAF and external stakeholders while ensuring compliance with Army regulations and DA standards.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented with excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Must work with Government software packages, especially MS Office (Outlook, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Ability to apply analytical methodologies to raw data for clear recommendations.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
• Experience with Protection on Army/Joint Staff and Major Army Commands.
• Operational experience using standard automated toolsets.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic, policy, programmatic, and technical expertise to enable SPP Branch support for HQDA Protection Division.
• Draft, edit, and staff documents integrating APP and protection concepts into Army plans and regulations.
• Support Joint Capability Area 7 Protection reporting for AR 525.30.
• Analyze Army Protection efforts and write recommendations; track tasks in databases.
• Prepare guidance and data calls; consolidate inputs from ARSTAF sections.
• Develop strategic forums and provide document control between HQDA, ARSTAF, and stakeholders.
• Interface with key contacts to coordinate information and apply DA standards.
• Support Army Regulations development for APP functional areas; share info across enterprise boards.
