Job summary

QED Systems LLC in Arlington, VA is seeking a Full-Time Policy Lead within the Strategy Plans and Policy (SPP) Branch. This role provides expert analysis on all Protection functions for policy improvements and risk management.

You will coordinate with ARSTAF, ACOMs/ASCCs/DRUs, analyze asset criticality, and draft policy recommendations. Telework is limited; travel <10% may occur. Requires Top Secret w/SCI eligibility and 7+ years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented with excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Must be able to work within Government software packages with emphasis on MS Office products.
• Must apply analytical methodologies to raw data to present clear recommendations.
• Ability to focus on mission requirements while tracking multiple priorities.
• Must be proficient in the Enterprise Task Management Software Solution (ETMS2).
• Ability to articulate analysis orally and in writing for senior leaders.
• Experience with Protection on Army/Joint Staff and in policy planning contexts.
• Experience with standard automated toolsets for duties.
• Draft Army EXORDs, FRAGOs, EXSUMs and strategic documents.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Policy Lead within the SPP Branch.
• Lead integration across ARSTAF, ACOMs, ASCCs, and DRUs for the SPP branch.
• Analyze Protection programs to ensure database accuracy and inform policy.
• Prepare and track guidance, tasking, and data calls for 14 Protection initiatives.
• Provide staff support for ETMS2 and SACO tasking responses.
• Support annual APPA reports focusing on deficiencies and best practices.
• Develop Army Regulations for APP functional areas.
• Evaluate APP with APPA Team Chief to ensure compliance standards.
